Lillian Armenteros Lama

Research Assistant

Lillian is a rising junior from the Dominican Republic studying Cognitive Neuroscience and minoring in Creative Writing at Penn. She has a passion for neuroscience, specifically trauma and lesions, and emotional development. She loves working with kids and thinks they are crucial in our research about the human brain. She thinks that investing in the youth is investing in the future. She emphasizes how important it is to ensure that all children, especially underprivileged, neurodivergent, or child trauma victims, have a healthy and safe childhood. At EDEN, Lillian hopes to contribute to this cause by working with children and their families, running behavioral experiments, and working with the team to create meaningful work. Lillian plans to continue her education after she graduates, hopefully going on to pursue a doctorate in her area of interest.
