D’Ayra Johnson
Research Assistant
My name is D’Ayra and I am a sophomore at the University of Pennsylvania. I am majoring in Psychology and minoring in Medical Sociology. I am interested in empathy throughout childhood and how parental emotional responsiveness and children’s social settings influence the development of empathy. Following graduation, I plan to continue my education by pursuing a Master’s Degree in Psychology or Child Development, and plan to get my PhD in Psychology at a later time. My professional aspiration is to work as a Child Life Specialist. In my free time I enjoy listening to all types of music, taking walks, and exploring new restaurants and shops in Philadelphia.
