Abigail Wallace (she/her)

Research Specialist

I received my B.S. in Psychology with Honors and a certificate in the Conceptual Foundations of Medicine from the University of Pittsburgh in 2023. Throughout my undergraduate career, I worked as a research assistant in the Studies in Treatment of Emotion & Affect Dysregulation in Youth study, where I completed an honors thesis. I also worked as a registered behavior technician administering ABA therapies to children with autism spectrum disorder and developmental disabilities. Engaging in both research and treatment aspects of clinical psychology ignited my interests in culturally competent care and pathways for disseminating research findings to communities and individual practitioners for implementation in clinical settings. My primary research interests relate to emotion regulation development, child and adolescent psychopathology, and environmental influences on mental health. I hope to pursue a doctorate in clinical psychology in the near future!
